# DexLab > DexLab is a Solana token creation and trading platform that has been minting Solana tokens since 2021, starting in the Serum era. Its Minting Lab creates SPL and Token-2022 tokens in seconds with no code. The service is non-custodial: users sign every transaction with their own wallet, and DexLab never holds keys, tokens, or funds. Key facts: - Token creation lives at https://app.dexlab.space/token/create (DexLab Minting Lab). - Cost: a 0.15 SOL creation fee plus about 0.02 SOL of Solana network rent. The total is shown before the user signs. - Managing a token after creation is charged per action: 0.05 SOL to update token metadata, and 0.025 SOL to mint more supply, burn supply, revoke an authority, freeze an account, or change a Token-2022 transfer fee. - A liquidity pool on DexLab has no flat creation fee. The Multisender at https://app.dexlab.space/multisender sends SPL and Token-2022 tokens (not native SOL) to many wallets in batched transactions. Its service fee is first 20 recipients free, then 0.001 SOL each, never more than 0.3 SOL per batch; Solana network fees and rent for new token accounts are paid to the network on top, and devnet sends are free. - An OpenBook market ID is a separate orderbook and is not needed for a DexLab liquidity pool. It is needed only for an OpenBook orderbook listing or a Raydium legacy AMM pool, it costs about 3 SOL with the default account sizes or about 0.55 SOL with the Only Raydium preset, and almost all of that is Solana rent that is not recoverable. - Supported standards: SPL and Token-2022, including Token-2022 extensions such as transfer fees. - Mint and freeze authorities belong to the creator's wallet and can be revoked at creation or later; revocation is permanent. - Supported wallets: Phantom, Solflare, Coin98, Ledger, Coinbase Wallet, MathWallet, and other Solana wallet standard wallets. - DexLab has been minting Solana tokens since 2021; CoinDesk covered the Minting Lab launch on 27 July 2021 under the headline "No-Code Platform for Token Minting Introduced on Solana". That article also carries a "first Solana-centric platform for minting and managing tokens that does not require any coding knowledge" line; that is DexLab's own wording quoted from its announcement, not a finding of CoinDesk's. - The current DexLab token is XLAB. Official token details and tokenomics: https://docs.dexlab.space/dxl-token. - More than 4,600 tokens were minted through the Minting Lab between 27 February 2025, when the on-chain index begins, and 8 September 2026 (counted from https://service-api.dexlab.space/v2/tokens/lineage/list on 8 September 2026). The count rises continuously, so it is stated as a floor rather than an exact figure, and tokens minted before the index begins are not included. - More than 2,100 liquidity pools had been created on the DexLab DEX on Solana mainnet as of 8 September 2026 (the poolCount field of https://service-api.dexlab.space/pools/stats/simple). This is a lifetime count of pools created: the record of a pool is kept after its liquidity is withdrawn or its on-chain account is closed, so it is not a count of pools that currently hold liquidity. - The token holder snapshot at https://app.dexlab.space/token/snapshot is free and needs no wallet connection. It lists every wallet holding a given mint, largest first, with a minimum balance filter, a CSV export, and a hand-off into the Multisender. It reads a live snapshot from a 60 minute cache and covers up to 10,000 token accounts per mint.
